‘Strengthening Young Women Peacebuilders’ Capacity in Complex Crises’ Workshop

UN Women, in partnership with UNAOC, UNFPA, and UNICEF, will hold a four-day workshop for selected participants of “Strengthening Young Women Peacebuilders’ Capacity in Complex Crises” from 20th to 23rd March in Tbilisi, Georgia.

Following a competitive process, 28 young women aged 18-30 years old, who are working in the fields of peacebuilding, human rights, women’s rights, youth rights, or related issues, were selected to participate in this comprehensive capacity-building initiative.

The in-person workshops aim to support young women who are leading civil society organizations in fragile or conflict and post-conflict affected countries by boosting their capacities in fundraising and project management, among others. The programme also seeks create a space for peer-exchange and networking among young women peacebuilders.
