The International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID) and the Multi-Faith Advisory Council to the UN Inter-Agency Taskforce on Religion and Sustainable Development (MFAC) in cooperation with the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, Religions for Peace, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Office of the United Nations Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide (OSAPG), and co-sponsored by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Austria to the United Nations in New York, the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the UN in New York, and the Permanent Mission of the Portuguese Republic to the UN in New York, will convene a high-level event on the margins of the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA80), focused on the role of interreligious and multistakeholder alliances in advancing global stability and resilience.
