The 2023 edition of the PLURAL + 2023 Youth Video Festival Ceremony is slated to take place at the Trusteeship Council Chamber, United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ) in New York on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 4 pm to 6 pm.
PLURAL+, a joint initiative of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), aims to amplify the global impact of young media makers who have created exceptional videos on themes such as migration, diversity, social inclusion, and the prevention of xenophobia.
The ceremony will recognize and honor filmmakers selected for International Jury Distinctions across three age categories. Additionally, it will present three Special Recognitions for videos centered around the themes of “Combating Xenophobia and Discrimination,” “Sport for One Humanity,” and “Migrants’ Contributions to Societies
