The High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) expresses his alarm at the antisemitic attack on Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Township near Detroit, Michigan on Thursday. He stresses that places of worship are sacred sites where worshippers find comfort and peace, not fear and intimidation. He expresses his solidarity with the Jewish community in Michigan.
