On the occasion of the 71st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) announces the organization of a side event on 15 September at the United Nations Headquarters in New York entitled, "Combating xenophobic language in the media and fostering inclusive integration of migrants and refugees." The side event is co-sponsored by the European Union, the International Organization for Migration, and the Permanent Mission of Malta to the United Nations.
