Create UNAOC has announced the first round of partners and sponsors for its inaugural 2012 challenge. Organizations located in the United States, Europe, and Asia have thrown their hats into the ring.
Among those partnering with Create UNAOC this year: Global Voices Online, Voice of America, The Education Arcade at MIT, Learning Games Network, ICT for Peace Foundation, Fundazione Mondo Digitale, John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, and Doha Centre for Media Freedom.

The Create UNAOC Challenge will announce its 2012 finalists on 21 December 2012. These five teams will be invited to participate at the UNAOC Forum in Vienna, Austria (27-28 February 2013), where the winner will be selected by forum delegates.
