On the occasion of the tenth Summit of the Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD), the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) will organize a side event on “Fostering Migrant Integration Through Innovative Civil Society Actions,” in collaboration with BMW Group and the Government of Canada. The side event will showcase the work of civil society organizations that have contributed to migrant integration. Selected organizations have received UNAOC’s Intercultural Innovation Award, a joint initiative of UNAOC and BMW Group supporting innovative grassroots projects that encourage intercultural dialogue and cooperation around the world.
