Openvizor is an international non-profit arts and cultural organization and platform, built as a catalyst for open collaboration, support and practice development with individuals, collectives and organisations in formal and informal spaces and networks across borders, cultures and disciplines.
We can all access and create vizors of perception as a means of protection, narrowing our focus and interactions. Openvizor supports and initiates projects that seek to raise the vizor and explore in human-scale new lines of enquiry as well as the ephemral and forgotten that offer innovative insight and practical development of ideas and dynamics about the ways in which we live and share our neighbourhoods and planet.
Openvizor programme includes exhibitions, festivals and projects with institutes, academia and practitioners in urbanism, fine art, performing arts and film, cultural activism and heritage in places such as Buenos Aires, Amman, London, Istanbul, Paris, Kingston, Bogotá, Dhaka, Gdansk, Cape Town and Ramallah.
Openvizor is funded by independent finance, not connected to any specific political or religious organizations.
