Articulated Space of Codevelopment Spain-Morocco (EACEM)

The “EACEM” is a transnational experience of network reinforcement between Morocco and Spain. The aim is to reach the integral human development of the communities in the Nord of Morocco, and to consolidate the links between the Spanish society and the Moroccan society.
The activities include the following:

  • Creation of six codevelopment committees in Morocco and Spain (around 80 associations involved)
  • Constitution of a Rifain Initiatives Transnational Centre, in Madrid, as a centre of meeting, realization of activities and projects’ dynamization for the rifain (North of Morocco) diaspora
  • Annual transnational meetings between all working groups
  • Creation of the EACEM platform
  • Realization of a Research Action Participation (RAP) Process, in a transnational way, by the Madrid Autonomous University (UAM)
  • Utilization of the new technologies for the exchange between the two countries, through the radio and Internet, with a twice-monthly radio program, “AZUL” and the web page http://www.espacioeacem.org/
