UN AoC Research Network member Global Political Trends Center (GPoT)--Istanbul Kultur University, together with the Arab Democracy Foundation and the Ibn Khaldun Center, has embarked on a project to critically evaluate the state of democracy in the Middle East and North Africa – the Arab world specifically – and to come up with policy proposals on how to improve it.
One of the outputs of the project, a publication entitled Towards a Better Life: How to Improve the State of Democracy in the Middle East and North Africa by Dr. Abdallah Shalaby, Salah Al Din Al Jurshi, Dr. Mostafa El-Nabarawy, Moheb Zaki, Dr. Qays Jawad Azzawi, and Dr. Antoine Nasri Messarra, has just been published by GPot.
