PM: Alliance of Civilizations can be peace project of the century

Turkish PM hails AoC's potential at opening of Alliance room at Palais des Nations, Geneva.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that with the will displayed by leaders and making use of the existing opportunities, the Alliance of Civilizations is a candidate to be "the peace project of the 21st century."

Prime Minister Erdogan was speaking at the opening on Tuesday 18 November 2008 of the new 'Human Rights and Alliance of Civilizations Room' at the Palais des Nations, headquarters of the United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG).
