Jorge Sampaio, the UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations, issued the following statement on the car bombing outside the Danish Embassy in Islamabad: "I strongly condemn the bomb blast outside the Danish Embassy in Islamabad that has claimed at least six innocent lives and injured dozens of others. Such an outrageous act of terrorism should strengthen our resolve to work together as an international community to create the conditions that will help prevent such attacks in the future. I would like to express my condolences to the families of the victims as well as to the Governments of Pakistan and Denmark". |
