Second Alliance of Civilizations High Level Political Dialogue of the Group of Friends 26 September 2007 (ECOSOC Chamber): Second Alliance of Civilizations High Level Political Dialogue of the Group of Friends - 8.00 - 9.30 am.

The meeting was opened by the UN Secretary-General. The High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations, President Jorge Sampaio, outlined his vision for the future of the Alliance and Group of Friends members had the opportunity to present ideas about the way forward for the Alliance during an interactive dialogue.
