The Institute of International Education (IIE) announced the launch of the IIE Emergency Fund at the third WISE Innovation Summit on Education in Doha, November 2, 2011. The Fund will provide emergency grants to post-secondary students studying at institutions outside their home countries whose funding has been affected by natural disaster or other crises.
The UNAOC aims to improve understanding and cooperation among nations and peoples across cultures and to reduce polarization at local and global levels. It helps develop more inclusive societies, in which diversity is experienced as an asset.
unaoc.org was designed in collaboration with Kathlyn Lam and fellow students of Professor Douglas Davis' Design Team Class at CUNY's New York City College of Technology's ADGA Department.
